A major UK-based financial qualifications body, with international reach, is recruiting a Senior Adviser as a Professional Standards Manager for its busy London office. Our client is looking for someone with energy, dynamism, creativity and most importantly, experience of the financial services industry to join them as they expand their work and profile in the area of ethics and integrity. This will involve preparing and teaching materials on financial culture change in these sectors.

You will be joining the Professional Standards Department which is responsible for the creation, development and introduction of the Client's various ethics and integrity programmes, and promoting them both to its members and the wider Financial Services Industry. This will include speaking about integrity, ethics and professional standards to groups of people across the industry.

You will have:

  • An interest in the promotion of standards of behaviour and social responsibility within the Industry;
  • Experience of the financial services industry;
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills;
  • Energy and the personal stature to represent CISI within the Industry;
  • IT skills – PowerPoint, Word and Excel;
  • The ability to work to and meet deadlines and work on your own.

    In order to have the breadth and depth of knowledge to undertake this role you will probably have at least five years' relevant exposure within the financial services industry. You may be from a corporate governance, compliance, accounting or audit background.

    There is the possibility of advancement within this role, with an increased salary. This role is subject to a satisfactory CRB check.
